Due to ongoing US-china trade war, China is no longer US top trading partner. According to a media report, China has been replaced by it’s neighbor’s Mexico and Canada.

According to the latest Wall Street Journal report, Mexico was America’s top trading partner during the first half of the year, with Canada at number two.


According to a daily report, due to the US-China trade war, imports from China to the US declined by 12 percent and China’s exports to the US declined by 19 percent.

Trump has so far believed that China has been doing injustice to America. China has also taken many counter-steps.

Trump has imposed a 25 percent import duty on Chinese goods worth $250 billion after coming to power. Another 10 percent import duty on products worth $300 billion which will come into effect from September 1.


The Wall Street Journal said that according to the Commerce Department report, the total value of bilateral goods exchanged with China dropped 14 percent to $ 214 billion in the first half of the year.
