Indian tea brand Teabox raised $5M funds from Dubai-based NB Venture

Teabox is an Indian brand tea. It offers a handpicked selection of the freshest and the finest teas from India and Nepal.

The company has received funds from Dubai-based NB ventures and from existing investors participated in this round. While the company does not reveal the exact sums but the source said that venture raised around $5M funds in this round.


Tell you that, The company had initially raised $6M funds to grow its tea-commerce business four years back.

Teabox’s founder and CEO Kaushal Dugar added a statement, this funding will help us in the future growth of Teabox. Now the company expects growth in the near future.

In Bengaluru, Teabox recently launched a center at the international airport by following its first center started at Mumbai International airport on Oct 2018. The company plans to open 3-5 more centers in the next few months.


Teabox was founded in 2012, and it claims to have shipped more than one billion cups of tea to the customers across 117 countries. The company has raised more than $10 Million in the last few years from investors such as Jafco Asia, RB investment, Accel and DBS Bank.

Teabox aims connects tea to people. Not to distributors. Not to resellers. But to tea drinkers. And the customers are also happy with its products quality, customer service, and faster delivery.
