6 New Startups from Delhi-NCR are giving boost Indian Economy

As we know that Delhi is the centre of India and is also considered as the hub of many startups, small and big companies. Delhi-NCR is known as the fastest growing city in the country, hosting 8500 startups including some big players such as Paytm, Jomato and Oyo, according to the source of Indian startup ecosystem – Yourstory.com.

According to YourStory’s funding report, Delhi-NCR alone has raised $ 3.73 billion in the past year, with Zomato’s $ 200 million in major deals, PolicyBazaar’s $ 238 million, Paytm’s $ 300 million, Paytm Mall’s $ 450 million, and OYO’s $ 1 billion fund.

Many new startups are in the queue in Delhi-NCR and looking for new opportunities, most of them young age students and new career oriented. It is a craze for people to start for themselves instead of doing jobs or leading a limited or normal life and it is good for the career of our Indian ecosystem and youth. Similarly, there are 6 new startups from Delhi-NCR region which are promoting the Indian ecosystem.

1. Navia Life Care

The first name comes in this startups’ list is Navia Life Carewhich is founded by ISB graduate Gaurav Gupta, Kunal Kishore Dhawan, and Shoujo Banerjee in 2016. It is a B2B SaaS based healthtech startup.

The purpose of this Delhi startups to empower medical service providers and make hospital visits more efficient with its voice-driven digital assistant for doctors and queue management systems for hospitals and hospitals.

Navia is currently working with 75 hospitals and clinics and is being used by 300 doctors and around one lakh patients.

2. CabBazar

Gurugram based CabBazar is an online cab provider helps people to provide cab service specially for outstation travel. It offers better connectivity for low and medium class cities.

CabBazar is started in 2017, by Deepanshu Rustagi, Amit Dhall, Rishabh Gupta, and Dinesh Sharma. Its aim to provide comfort, easy to booking and hassle free journey at competitive prices to the traveler. CabBazar designed a fully-automated system, allow users to personalised-feedback, taxi provider follow-up and control, Zero payment holds for partners.

The Delhi startup is growing steadily since it started and has partnered with over 600 taxi providers in Gurugram.

3. AllAuthor

Two brothers Naveen Joshi and Madhukar Joshi started AllAuthor in 2016. It’s purpose to make easy author’s lives. AllAuthor is a Noida based startups. It is an online platform aims to provide services for book promotion, including personal branding, creation of engaging content, and automation of social media promotion.

It provides a marketing tools to create graphics, banners, and videos that author can share on their social media accounts to connect with readers.

This Delhi startup claims to 5000 authors and about 60,000 readers on its platforms as of now, the maximum number of authors are from US which is about 78 percent, rest are from UK, Canada, Australia, and India.

4. ixamBee 

ixamBee founded in April, 2017 by Chandraprakash. He has started ‘ixamBee’ especially for small town students to provide quality education material for competitive exams which is easily available in the big towns but the students in small towns and villages find it difficult to access such coaching centres.

It uses text, audio, and video formats to create unlimited and free mock tests for about 55 competitive exams.

ixamBee is a fastest growing Delhi startup with learning course for more than 10 exams, and conduct around 50 exam’s mock tests.

5. Stanza Living

Stanza Living has been started by Anindya Dutta and Sandeep Dalmia in 2017. Stanza Living is a close-knit community which provides co-living spaces for students. This residence has capacity to accommodate 40-500 people in it.

This Delhi startup is based on a modal to redesign the property according to student’s needs and also offers the services like Food, WiFi, Laundary, Security, etc.

It partners with property owners and developers for fixed lease, revenue-sharing, and management contracts for a time period between five and 12 years.

6. Poshtick

Poshtick is an online platform, Founded by Pranav Sharma and Kritik Thakur, offers healthy snacks and drinks to millennials and young professionals. It tells the people about calorie count and portion stated along with the item.

It offers boxes on weekly and monthly subscription basis, 5 boxes for weekdays are delivered at the doorstep. Trial boxes contain five healthy snacks and a beverage. The average order size is Rs 450-500.

Poshtick is now focusing on building retail presence in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, and Guwahati.
